Voluma™
in Middletown, NJ

Dr. John Taylor is a board-certified plastic surgeon who uses Voluma™ to treat patients in Red Bank, NJ, who want to restore the volume to their cheeks and midface areas for a younger, healthier appearance.

What Is Voluma™?

Voluma™ is a facial filler that restores the volume to the cheek area of the face. Made with hyaluronic acid (HA), Voluma™ is the first FDA-approved filler formulated with lidocaine to specifically target the cheeks. The HA is cross-linked in a process called Vycross™ that provides an excellent lifting capacity which restores cheek volume. This special cross-linking may also help the injections last up to two years.

Benefits of Voluma™

Voluma™ is different from other facial fillers in that it offers the following benefits:

  • Only filler FDA-approved to enhance cheek and mid-face volume
  • Instant results following treatment
  • Only one treatment is usually needed
  • Lasts up to two years

Patient Reviews

“I had an amazing dermaplaning and chemical peel service with Danielle K! There is definitely a reason they call this combined service her signature treatment! Also, I had an amazing massage with Danielle Fey. I can’t wait to come back for more. Everyone in the office is welcoming and professional!”

How Are Voluma™ Treatments Performed?

Voluma™ is injected below the skin with a fine needle. The compound, containing hyaluronic acid, corrects wrinkles and adds volume to the cheeks to create a more youthful appearance.

With Voluma™ injections, patients typically feel a slight pinprick with the needle. If there is any discomfort or aversion to needles, we can provide numbing cream to apply to the areas to be treated. Most patients have a comfortable experience aside from feeling a slight initial pinprick.

Recovery from Voluma™

With Voluma™, there is no recovery or downtime. Patients return to their normal activities immediately after their appointment. It is common for some patients to experience minor side effects such as redness, minor swelling, and some bruising at the injection site as well as tenderness or firmness. This typically remedies itself within a couple of weeks at the most. If it is uncomfortable, an ice pack on the area offers temporary relief as does taking acetaminophen. While the results of Voluma™ may last up to two full years, patients often choose to get brief touch-up treatments so they get the most out of Voluma™.

*We are now requesting that all filler patients arrive with a freshly washed face and no makeup. This is for your own safety to reduce the risk of infection/inflammation with filler products.
