What Is Daxxify™?
Daxxify™ is a botulinum toxin injectable, similar to Botox®. The ingredients in Daxxify™ block nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. When injected into facial muscles, the muscles relax, allowing facial wrinkles and lines to smooth out. Daxxify™ is intended to be used for frown lines, also known as glabellar lines. These are the wrinkles that commonly appear between the eyebrows due to repeated muscle activity.

How are Daxxify™ Treatments Performed?
Daxxify™ is injected into the muscles of the forehead as well as between the eyebrows and around the eyes to reduce wrinkles and lines. This process is generally well-tolerated, but we can apply a topical anesthetic to further reduce discomfort during the injection process. Daxxify™ takes only a few minutes to perform, and once injected, it relaxes the muscles to reduce frown lines.

Preparing for Daxxify™
The only preparation necessary for Daxxify™ treatments is to meet with one of our injectors to evaluate the areas of your face that you want to be treated, and determine if Daxxify™ is the best treatment option.
Recovery from Daxxify™
After Daxxify™, there may be some redness and slight swelling around the injection sites, which usually goes away within a couple of hours or by the next day. Despite these temporary side effects, you’ll be able to return to work and other normal activities immediately following your appointment. The results from Daxxify™ will be visible in the days following treatment as the Daxxify™ formula takes effect.
